See the below examples for a better understanding<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>Who<\/strong> wrote the abstract of this paper?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I\u2019m not sure <strong>who<\/strong> reported the data as incorrect in the manuscript.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>When to use &#8220;Whom&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>On the other hand, \u201cwhom\u201d is generally the object in the sentence. Here are few examples of its usage:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>With <strong>whom<\/strong> are you going to collaborate in your next research project?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>The research assistant, <strong>whom<\/strong> we just hired, failed to show up to work today.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Know the Difference<\/h2>\n<p>There is one simple way to avoid such confusion. If the question is considered a statement, we have to check whether the subject can be replaced by pronouns like \u201che,\u201d \u201cshe,\u201d etc., or \u201chim,\u201d \u201cher,\u201d etc. If we find pronouns like \u201che,\u201d \u201cshe,\u201d etc., appropriate in the statement, the question should have a \u201cwho\u201d in it.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, if pronouns like \u201chim,\u201d \u201cher\u201d etc., seem to be correct, then we need to choose \u201cwhom\u201d over \u201cwho.\u201d Check the example below to clear your doubts.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Incorrect:<\/span> The first author is generally <strong>whom<\/strong> does the maximum work in a research.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #00ff00\">Correct:<\/span> The first author is generally <strong>who<\/strong> does the maximum work in a research.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"gsp_post_data\" data-post_type=\"post\" data-cat=\"enago-academy-creatives\" data-modified=\"120\" data-title=\"Who Vs.
