結果・考察・結論を効果的に書く－論文の3つの要素と書き方のコツ

英語論文の要旨（Abstract）の書き方を解説した前回のウェビナー『もう悩まない！英語論文アブストラクトの書き方』に続く今回のウェビナーでは、論文の結果（Results）、考察（Discussion）、結論（Conclusion）をそれぞれいかに効果的に書くかをご説明します。

それぞれの構成部分に何を書くか、どう書き分けるかは悩ましいものです。「主要な発見の解釈まで結果（Results）に書き込んでしまう」、「考察（Discussion）で結果（Results）に既に書かれている内容を再び述べてしまう」など、よくある間違いを避け、各項目に過不足なく情報を記載することが必要です。今回のウェビナーでは、それぞれの項目の目的と、よく練られた研究論文とするために各項目にどのような情報を書くべきかを解説します。

今回のセミナーで解説するポイント:

  • 結果（Results）、考察（Discussion）、結論（Conclusion）：目的と意義
  • 各項目で特に大切な要素

About the Speaker

田口善弘 教授（中央大学理工学部物理学科）

1961年東京生まれ。1988年東京工業大学大学院理工学研究科修士課程修了。理学博士。2006年より現職。専門はバイオインフォマティクスおよび非線形物理学。30年以上の研究を通じて100を超える論文を発表。また過去5年間だけでも『BMC Medical Genomics』『Medicine (Lippincott Williams & Wilkins journal)』『PLoS ONE』『IPSJ Transactions on Bioinformatics』など50以上の国際ジャーナルにおいて査読を担当。バイオインフォマティクスの国際学会「InCob」では、2014年と2017年に最優秀論文賞、 2018年には最優秀口頭発表賞を受賞するなど数多くの受賞歴を持つ。著作も多数あり、『砂時計の七不思議』では第12回講談社出版文化賞科学出版賞を受賞。
